NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for nearly sixty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors.

If you’re looking to have new electrical work installed, then you might have heard about Part P. This regulation is incredibly important in making sure the works are carried out correctly and installed to the letter of the law. At Master Spark we are Part P registered so we always adhere to the UK national electrical safety standards and on completion of any works we will give you an Electrical Certificate to confirm that works have been designed, installed, and tested in line with these standards. On your behalf, we shall also notify local building controls of any electrical works that need to be notified.

Part P applies to any changes made to existing installations, including any parts that have been rewired.

Electricians carrying out work in England and Wales have to comply with Part P of the Building Regulations.
